Quickstart ​

This guide walks through the basic steps required to start using the Stove API.

Before integrating with Stove APIs, your organization must complete the onboarding process and obtain API credentials.

To get started, please contact the Stove team at business@stove.finance with a brief overview of your organization and intended integration. Once approved, our team will assist you throughout the onboarding process and provide the necessary credentials and environment configuration.

Step 1: Obtain API Credentials ​

After onboarding is completed, you will receive:

  • API Key
  • API Secret
  • Base URL
  • Environment Configuration

Step 2: Pick Your Path ​

  • Instant Swap API — for aggregators, wallets, and anything needing atomic single-transaction settlement. Getting a quote requires no credentials at all. To execute trades on-chain, your calling contract address needs to be added to an on-chain whitelist — contact business@stove.finance with your integration details to get added, then head to Instant Swap API Overview.

  • Precise Execution API — for order-book style trading (creating orders, tracking positions, getting pushed updates). Contact business@stove.finance to get set up — once you're onboarded you'll get an API Key, an API Secret, and access to these environments:

The remaining steps below are for Precise Execution API. If you're on Instant Swap API, head straight to its Overview page.

Step 3: Query Available Assets ​

Once authentication is configured, you can begin interacting with Stove APIs.

A common starting point is retrieving account or position information to verify connectivity and permissions.

Step 4: Start Building ​

Once authenticated, you can begin integrating:

  • Asset discovery
  • Market data
  • Order placement
  • Trading workflows
