Corporate Actions
What It Does
When a listed company has a corporate action — a stock split, a dividend, a delisting — token holders' positions need to be processed accordingly. Corporate actions can be handled automatically by the system by default, or processed on demand by requesting the Corporate Actions API. You can choose either approach based on your integration and business needs.
If you choose automatic processing, the system will handle the corporate action automatically, and no action is required on your part.
If you choose to process corporate actions via API, please refer to the sections below for details.

Who Needs to Integrate This
Corporate Actions integration belongs to whichever platform is holding positions on behalf of end users — not necessarily whoever executes the trade.
- If you face end users directly, you integrate this yourself.
- If you're B2B2C — you connect through an intermediary that in turn serves end users — your downstream partner is the one who needs to integrate Corporate Actions, since they're the one holding positions for the actual end users.
For example: a wallet acquires Stove-issued tokens through Stove's aggregator integration. The aggregator integrates Stove's trading interface; the wallet integrates with the aggregator to source liquidity. But the wallet is the one whose end users hold the tokens — so the wallet also needs to integrate Stove's Corporate Actions interface directly, independent of how it sourced the tokens.
How You'll Know an Action Is Pending
This is poll-based — Stove doesn't push corporate action notifications to you. Call Query Actions and check for records with status: "triggered".
Any user-facing notification (e.g. a popup prompting the user to handle a pending action) is something you build on your side — a common pattern is to poll on each user login or session start, and surface a prompt if there are unprocessed triggered records. The existing WebSocket channels (Order Status Push, Market Data Push) don't cover corporate actions, so this isn't something you can subscribe to — it has to be polled.
Authentication
Corporate Actions requires authentication. You'll get a dedicated key for it as part of onboarding, scoped to your integration — separate from any trading-side credentials. Contact business@stove.finance to get set up.
